Awasthi College of Law was established in 2019. The campus is at a distance of 1 km from ISBT, Nalagarh and Sub-Judicial Court, Nalagarh. The District and Sessions Court, Solan, HP is at a distance of 40 KM whereas HP High-Court is at a distance of 85 km form this college. This College attracts students from various parts of Himachal Pradesh and from the other states of the country. The location of the law College and the natural beauty of its surroundings make an attractive center of learning.

Awasthi College of Law is managed by Awasthi Group of Institutions and is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University and approved by the Bar Council of India. The University and the Bar Council of India have allotted 60 seats per annum for B.A.LL.B. five years integrated degree course and 60 seats for LL.B. three years degree course.

The College has been set up to impart legal education to students with its well-structured courses & aims to make them aware of the legal rights & responsibilities. The College ensures that the students get a comprehensive understanding of the practical aspects of law thus acquiring legal skills. The course includes seminars, tutorial work, moot courts and practical training programs. Legal internships/trainings provide an opportunity for students to increase their knowledge of substantive areas of law, gain exposure to a real work and provide valuable support to a legal employer.
